Payment and Billing Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
1. Overview
This Payment and Billing Policy explains how Chitraagni handles paid plans, payment providers, recurring payments, tax, refunds, cancellations, disputes, and payment data.
Chitraagni is operated by Amretra Dynamics, Mahbubnagar, Telangana - 509001, India.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Available payment methods may vary by country, payment provider, plan, checkout flow, and risk checks.
Chitraagni may support payments through third-party providers such as Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, banks, card networks, UPI providers, wallet providers, netbanking providers, or other regulated payment participants.
Supported methods may include cards, UPI, wallets, netbanking, subscriptions, payment links, invoices, mandates, or other methods shown at checkout.
3. Payment Gateway Role
Payment gateways, payment aggregators, banks, card networks, UPI providers, wallet providers, and billing processors may collect, authenticate, process, settle, refund, reverse, or dispute payments under their own rules and legal obligations.
Chitraagni does not operate as a payment aggregator or bank unless expressly stated. We use third-party payment providers to process payments.
4. No Card Storage by Chitraagni
Chitraagni does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, netbanking passwords, or complete payment instrument credentials on Chitraagni servers.
Card-on-file, tokenisation, payment authentication, saved payment methods, mandates, and recurring payment permissions are handled by payment providers, card networks, issuing banks, acquiring banks, UPI providers, wallet providers, or other regulated participants where applicable.
5. Tokenisation and Consent
For India-issued cards or domestic India payment flows, card storage and future-use payments may require tokenisation or similar payment-provider flows.
If tokenisation, saved cards, or future-use permissions are offered, the payment provider may ask for explicit customer consent and may manage the token or mandate outside Chitraagni.
6. Recurring Payments and Mandates
For subscriptions, recurring payments may require:
- customer authentication
- explicit mandate or auto-pay consent
- pre-debit notification by the bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet provider, or payment provider
- customer ability to manage, pause, or revoke mandates through provider-supported channels
- additional authentication when required by applicable rules or provider risk controls
If a recurring payment fails, the subscription may remain unpaid, be retried, downgraded, suspended, or canceled depending on product rules and payment-provider status.
7. Pricing and Taxes
Plan prices, billing periods, discounts, taxes, and included limits are shown in the product or checkout flow.
Taxes such as GST or other applicable indirect taxes may be added, included, or invoiced depending on the checkout flow, user location, tax status, and legal requirements.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and tax details where requested.
8. Invoices and Receipts
Payment receipts, invoices, and transaction confirmations may be generated by Chitraagni, the payment provider, or both.
If you need billing support, contact contact@amretra.com with your account email and transaction reference.
9. Failed, Pending, or Duplicate Payments
If a payment is failed, pending, reversed, duplicated, or debited without service activation, we may need payment-provider reconciliation before confirming access, issuing a refund, or resolving the transaction.
Duplicate or incorrect charges may be eligible for review under the Refund Policy.
10. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
Approved refunds are generally initiated to the original payment method through the relevant payment provider. Actual credit timing depends on the payment provider, bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet provider, settlement cycle, and dispute process.
11. Cancellations
Cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
Canceling a Chitraagni subscription stops future renewal but may not automatically revoke a payment mandate in every external provider interface. You may need to manage mandates through the relevant bank, card network, UPI app, wallet, or payment-provider flow.
12. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge through a bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet provider, or payment gateway, access may be limited while the dispute is reviewed.
Please contact support first where possible so we can investigate duplicate charges, failed activation, refund eligibility, or billing errors.
